NSYS Upcoming Events

Reminder of Upcoming NSYS Events and Dates:

No Rehearsal, on Monday, Feb. 18th in observance of Presidents’ Day.

Our next rehearsal is Monday, February 25th. Even though we have missed some rehearsal time due to snow days our music directors are confident that with focus and concentration by the students at rehearsals and practicing at home both the Philharmonia and Symphony groups will be able to learn and perform the material for our upcoming concert.

Symphony students will be emailed a copy of the music for the Bach Harpsichord Concerto this weekend.

Concert Date, March 18, 2019, 7:30 pm. WWU Performing Arts Center. Admission Free! Donations gladly accepted.

First Rehearsal of Spring Quarter, March 25, 2019, 6:00 pm. WWU Lower Level 2.
Philharmonia Rehearsal 6:00 to 8:00
Symphony Rehearsal 6:00 to 8:15.

General Meeting of Board and Members, March 25, 2019, 6:15 pm. WWU Lower Level 2. All parents/guardians are invited and encouraged to attend. New Board Members will be elected.

Auditions, Auditions are by appointment. All new students should schedule an audition. Returning students do not need to audition. Any Philharmonia students wanting to move to Symphony should also schedule an audition. Please email: info@northsoundyouthsymphony.org for more information.

Pizza Night at rehearsal, Monday, April 8th, 2019, 6:00 pm. WWU Lower Level 2. NSYS invites YOU to invite your musician friends to experience the symphony with you; friends can bring their instruments and play.  If your friends enjoy it as much as you do, maybe they will stay for the season!  As an added bonus — PIZZA FOR ALL!  Friends need to bring a Pizza Night Form filled out by their parents. IMPORTANT: If the student is attending Pizza Night without a parent/guardian they must bring with them a Pizza Night Form signed by a parent/guardian in order to attend the rehearsal.
