2025 Fall Soloist Jenny Lloyd, Cello

Jenny Lloyd is a senior at Sehome High School, where she performs with the Chamber Orchestra. Throughout her musical journey, she has been an active participant in programs including North Sound Youth Symphony, Western Washington University’s Chamber Days, and various local chamber ensembles. Jenny loves sharing her music with others—whether performing for family and friends, busking in the community, or playing at the local restaurant where she works.

When she’s not playing the cello, Jenny enjoys spending time with her dogs and exploring the San Juan Islands. She credits her musical growth to her long-time cello teacher, Coral Marchant; her orchestra teachers, Kirstin Doud and Morgan Schwab; NSYS conductor Grant Donnellan; and her family and friends for their constant encouragement and support. A devoted member of the North Sound Youth Symphony for the past five years, Jenny is grateful to have her time with the ensemble culminate in this special performance.
