Davis Hampton

Featured Soloist: Davis Hampton, Bass Clarinet

Davis Hampton is a senior at Sehome High School and has played the bass clarinet since the 7th grade. He was born in Seattle but has spent the majority of his life in Bellingham. This is Davis’ 5th year as a member of North Sound. he is also a member of the Whatcom Wind Ensemble and the Sehome Concert and Jazz Bands. He has participated in the Regional Honor Band all for high school years, was an All-Northwest Concert Band participant this year and will be an All-State Wind Ensemble participant in 2014. He plans to both study and perform music in college. Apart from music Davis plays 1st base on the Sehome baseball team and enjoys skiing with his family.

Davis is grateful to his parents for always supporting his musical interests, to Morgan Schwab who first gave him the bass clarinet to play back in 7th grade, and to his Band and Symphony friends who have made music such a fun and meaningful experience.
