2022 Soloist Spring Adrian Kelly
-
Adrian Kelly
Adrian Kelly has always had a deep connection to classical music. After starting violin lessons with Betsy Stuen-Walker at age 5, Adrian has been studying enthusiastically ever since and especially enjoys playing in orchestra. At age 10 Adrian joined North Sound Youth Symphony and has loved the experience of playing music with friends and learning from WWU Staff, and Adrian is very honored to get to play Sibelius Concerto as a soloist with the symphony. Everything Adrian learned from North Sound has helped them qualify for and enjoy groups like All State and Marrowstone, Seattle Youth Symphony, and WWU Symphony. In the fall Adrian will be going on to play in the symphony orchestra at Portland State University as a music minor and business major. Adrian is currently a student of Professor Laura Camacho and has had lessons with Carolyn Canfield, Grant Donnellan, and they would like to give a big thanks to all of these mentors and to Sehome orchestra teacher Kirstin Doud!
